Canna 'Llanthony' A small Premier Group cultivar; bronze foliage, ovoid shaped, arching habit; round stems, coloured purple; flowers are open, self-coloured pink, staminodes are medium size, edges ruffled, petals purple with farina, fully self-cleaning, good bloomer; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured purple; tillering is average. Introduced by Martin Davis, Gloucester, England, EU in 2002, and entred by him into this trial.
